ਅੱਜ ਮਿਤੀ 17.07.2011 ਦਿਨ ਦੇ 1.30 ਤੋਂ ‘ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ’ ਜੰਨਤਾ ਨਗਰ ਨਜਦੀਕ ਏ.ਟੀ.ਆਈ. ਕਾਲਿਜ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ , ਵਿਖੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ਼ੁਸੋਬਿਤ ਹੈ ਠੀਕ ਉਸੇ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਗਰੁਡ਼ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜਦੋ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਹਨਾ ਹਿੱਕ ਥਾਪਡ਼ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਮਰਜੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ ਸਾਡੀ ਉਪਰ ਤੱਕ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਹੈ । ਜਿਆਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾ ਮੱਕਡ਼ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਲ਼ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਦਾ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਰ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਭ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰਾ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਹੈ । ਅਸੀ ਪਰਸਨਲੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਨਾਲ਼ ਮੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀ ਅਗਰ ਗਰੁਡ਼ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ , ਲੰਗਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਰਾਜ ਨਹੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਅਡ਼ੇ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਗਰੁਡ਼ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਵਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ ਜੋ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ । ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾ ਦੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਜਾਮੰਦੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਇਹ ਸੱਭ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਨਮੱਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੈਮਲ 9814088318 ,ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਘੋਨੀ 9872009004 ,ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਨੇਸਰ, ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਾਰੀ, ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ... ਸ਼ੋ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਛਾਣਬੀਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਢੁੱਕਵੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਾਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੱਗੋ ਤੋ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਮਨਮੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਲਗਾਮ ਕਸੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ।

The ‘purification of the world’, according to the Guru’s earliest biographer, was equated by him with the ‘removal of the masands’.6
By the late Nineteenth Century, however, the ‘leaders of the faith’ had, once again, abandoned it. The custodians or mahants, of hundreds of Gurudwaras had transformed them into hereditary fiefdoms; the tenets of the Sikh faith were openly violated; Brahmanical rituals had re-emerged; superstition, casteism and idolatry were rampant, to the extent that idol-worship was practised even within the precincts of the Golden Temple; pandits and astrologers practised their trade in Sikh places of worship; pilgrims from the ‘lower castes’ were not allowed into Gurudwaras except during fixed hours of the day. Professional priests had again transformed the immaculate inspiration of the faith into base commerce, hawking holy dispensations, peddling amulets, and offering to mediate between a gullible people and their gods - for a price.
Brahminical rituals must not be allowed to reappear/practised in the Gurudwaras again.Strong action must be taken against the present management and a new management be appointed to safeguard the Sikh Traditions.
